Stanley Solagah, CFA

Stanley Solagah, CFA, is a treasury and investment professional with extensive experience in portfolio management, capital markets, and balance sheet risk management within Africa’s financial services and development finance ecosystem. He currently leads Treasury and Investments at the African Trade & Investment Development Insurance (ATIDI) in Nairobi, where he oversees liquidity strategy, asset–liability management, and the management of a global investment portfolio exceeding USD 1 billion.

Prior to this, Stanley served as Head of Treasury and Investments at Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, where he led treasury strategy, managed institutional investment portfolios, and played a key role in navigating the Ghana Domestic Debt Exchange Programme while safeguarding portfolio stability. His earlier roles at Agricultural Development Bank and Old Mutual Ghana provided strong foundations in treasury analytics, financial markets, and business strategy.

Stanley holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He is a CFA Charterholder and holds additional certifications including the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from the Corporate Finance Institute and Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC).

Through this platform, Stanley is passionate about helping CFA candidates translate theory into practical financial insight. His teaching approach emphasizes clarity, analytical rigor, and real-world application of investment and risk management principles.
